Windows Protector — Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective date: September 27, 2025

1. Overview

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Windows Protector software, license keys, updates, and the associated website and services (collectively, the “Services”). By installing, accessing, or using the Services, acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy is indicated.

2. Who we are

“Windows Protector” refers to the provider of the Services identified on this website. Support and legal contact is available at contact@windowsprotector.pages.dev.

3. License grant

Subject to payment and compliance with these Terms, Windows Protector grants a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use the software on the number of Windows devices and for the term indicated at purchase.

4. License restrictions

5. Updates and changes

The software may automatically check for, download, and install updates, including security definitions and engine updates. Features and functionality may change over time, and continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

6. Purchases, billing, and taxes

7. Delivery and fulfillment

For digital purchases, license keys and download instructions are delivered electronically to the email provided at checkout, typically immediately after successful payment authorization. Delivery may be delayed by payment review, fraud screening, or email issues.

8. Subscription term and renewal

If a subscription plan is selected, the license term will be stated at checkout (e.g., 12 months) and may renew automatically at the then‑current price unless canceled before renewal. Cancellation can be requested any time prior to renewal by contacting support at contact@windowsprotector.pages.dev.

9. Refunds

A 30‑day money‑back guarantee applies to first‑time purchases of Windows Protector, starting on the purchase date. To request a refund within 30 days, contact support at contact@windowsprotector.pages.dev with the order email and receipt or transaction identifier.

10. Acceptable use

11. Intellectual property

The Services and all related intellectual property rights are owned by Windows Protector or its licensors. No rights or licenses are granted except as expressly set forth in these Terms.

12. Third‑party services

Certain functionality may rely on third parties (e.g., payment processing, email delivery). Use of such third‑party services may be subject to their terms and privacy practices.

13. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Windows Protector disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, and uninterrupted or error‑free operation.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Windows Protector will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms. To the extent liability cannot be disclaimed, the total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount actually paid for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnification

The purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Windows Protector from and against third‑party claims arising from misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

16. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Windows Protector may suspend or terminate access to the Services for material breach or unlawful use. Upon termination, the license ends and software use must cease; sections intended to survive will survive.

17. Export and sanctions compliance

Purchasers represent and warrant that use of the Services complies with applicable export control and sanctions laws and that purchasers are not located in a prohibited jurisdiction or on a restricted list.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles, and disputes will be resolved in a competent court with jurisdiction at the place of principal operations of Windows Protector unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

19. Changes to these Terms

Windows Protector may modify these Terms prospectively by posting an updated version with a new “Effective date.” Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
